Online Scale, Subject Size for Online Video

Brad Winderbaum, the online auteur behind "Satacracy 88" and other tiny-screen serials, once explained online scale to me. In Hollywood movies, faces are meant to be larger than life. On TV, the face of the performer should approximate in size the face of a viewer on her couch. In online video, Winderbaum says, details of the human body, seen at closer range, are ideal.
