Meanwhile, Metrolink's web site has lasped to an unconfigured emergency page and their twitter only corrects the LA Fire Department's twitter, doesn't tell the location (so drivers can stay clear and keep roads open for emergency vehicals). It gives no other useful information, which people have been seeking via twitter:

It is right now rush hour on a Friday and updating commuters could save delays and aid the rescue effort. I'd love to help them react better.
