Bring the Funny Launches in April

Next month, Bring the Funny, which I act in and wrote, launches on We Make Movies YouTube channel. We shot it at YouTube Space LA and I got to perform with Sean Michael Boozer under Sam Mestman's direction and it was produced by Nathan Paul for We Make Movies' Original Sketch Show.

My dear lost love, I miss your heart near me.
I'd love to dance with you and wish we could:
the simple warmth of your embrace is gone,
the flawless music of your voice has left.

At night in dreams I sometimes see you still,
with joy that can't believe my perfect luck
to move and breathe and share myself with you;
a dance that lasts and moves while we are still.

But then I wake, your void is all that's there.
Then empty tears conspire to close my eyes
and shut away a world that's lost in shade.
Without your touch I never like the day.

Then memory just taunts me with what's gone
and makes me long for what can never be.
